The Breeders’ Cup World Championship is one of thoroughbred horseracing’s most prestigious international events. With world-class entertainment, its events attract society’s most elite celebrities, patrons, sponsors and partners. Epiphany was contracted to evolve the Breeders’ Cup visual identity to support its objective of reflecting the luxury DNA of the brand and secure high-profile sponsorships.

CrossHarbor Capital Partners

CrossHarbor Capital Partners is a commercial real estate investment and asset management firm. With thoughtful analysis, creative structuring and superior execution, CrossHarbor invests in core-plus, value-add and opportunistic transactions on behalf of institutional investors. Epiphany was contracted to evolve the company’s visual identity to reflect the professionalism of its elite brand.

ESSEX PROPERTY TRUST

Epiphany was hired by Essex Property Trust in 2014 to refine its brand messaging after it acquired BRE Properties. The refinement and subsequent development of marketing standards and guidelines across its portfolio of properties provided Essex with the tools to streamline the introduction of future properties in a cohesive, compelling and cost-effective way.

GHC Companies

GHC Companies, the parent company of GHC Housing Partners and GH Capital, is a vertically integrated real estate company, from acquisition to property management and asset management. With more than 20,000 units in more than 24 states, GHC Housing Partners is the industry’s leading affordable housing owner and developer in the U.S. Through GH Capital, GHC invests and manages its own capital and that of others through its private equity arm. Epiphany was contracted by GHC to modernize the company’s visual vernacular (creating distinct platforms for each of its business arms) and marketing materials to better reflect its position as a market leader.

Marriott Hotels

Epiphany was hired by Marriott International in 2017 to refine the Marriott Hotels brand positioning strategy. With 500+ hotels across more than 60 countries, Marriott Hotels is the leading classic premium offering and flagship brand within the Marriott International portfolio. Following the 2017 merger of Marriott International and Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Epiphany developed an updated brand promise and positioning for Marriott Hotels to distinguish it amongst the company’s now 30 unique brands.

Montage International

Montage International was created in 2016 as the parent company of Montage Hotels & Resorts (founded in 2002) and Pendry Hotels (founded in 2016). Epiphany was contracted by Montage International to develop a visual identity for the parent company that reflects its existing portfolio of luxury properties, while also considering its expansion plans. Epiphany also created a style guide for the brand and executes ongoing internal and external communication materials, including presentation templates, stationery package, event displays, corporate office graphics and more.

Tribute Portfolio

The Tribute Portfolio (part of Marriott International) is a collection of independent boutique hotels bound together by a shared passion for individuality and a desire to foster connections between guests and its larger communities. Because each independent hotel has its own story, the Tribute Portfolio brand (launched in 2015) required a Design Foundation to aid interior designers in understanding the overarching spirit of the brand while allowing each hotel the freedom to embody its unique personality. Marriott International hired Epiphany in 2018 to develop its Design Foundation, which formalized the key objectives and tactics that aligned with the brand strategy, illustrated through interior design inspiration principles.
